How it works
Brow tattooing places fine pigment just beneath the surface of the skin to add shape, density and definition. Cosmetic tattoo is where ABA began in 2018, and our team has since spent more than 6,000 hours on it.
There are three styles: mist, a soft powdered finish; feathering, which pairs fine strokes through the front of the brow with shading towards the tail; and wild, a more natural, textured look. Colour is mixed to suit your skin tone and hair, and the result is semi-permanent, fading gradually over time.

Hygiene you can trust.
Reusable instruments are sterilised in a steam autoclave and kept in a UV-C sanitising cabinet. Needles and gloves are single-use.
Your visit
We talk through the look you would like, assess your skin and existing brow hair, and recommend a style and shade.
Your brows are measured and drawn on to suit your features, with stray hairs trimmed. We refine the outline together before beginning.
Numbing cream (please bring your own) is applied first, then pigment is placed with single-use needles. The first appointment takes around two hours in total.
Colour looks stronger at first and softens as the skin flakes over the following week or so. A perfecting session 8 to 12 weeks later refines shape and colour.
Pricing
Please bring your own numbing cream to the appointment, as we don’t supply it (available from pharmacies; ask the pharmacist whether it suits you). Without it, treatment will need to be rescheduled. A yearly refresh helps keep shape and colour even as the pigment softens. Your tattooist will confirm the right style and retouch option at consultation. A $50 deposit secures your appointment and comes off your treatment on the day.

Questions
Comfort varies from person to person. Numbing cream, which you bring along, is applied first to keep you comfortable, and your tattooist will check in with you throughout.
Most brow tattoos last around one to two years, depending on skin type. Expect some fading once healed; sun, make-up removers, vitamin A skincare and lighter shades can all speed this up. A yearly refresh keeps them looking even.
Yes. Our tattooists work with or without existing hair. Softer, shaded styles tend to suit sparse brows and oilier skin, and we will recommend the best option at consultation.
For ten days, keep the area free of make-up and avoid swimming, saunas and spas, and skip intense exercise for the first week. Let any flaking come away on its own, and wear SPF once healed to help the colour last.
