How it works

Calm breakouts, then smooth what remains.

Active acne and the marks it leaves call for different care, so we treat them in stages. Deep cleansing with extraction, or with a gentle PHA peel, clears congestion, while laser acne treatment helps settle oil, bacteria and inflammation together.

Once breakouts are under control, laser scar reduction encourages new collagen and refines the skin surface, so scars and lingering discolouration become less noticeable over a course of sessions.

Clarity II

Dual-wavelength 755 / 1064 nm laser.

Clarity II combines 755 nm and 1064 nm lasers in one platform. Having both wavelengths lets the practitioner match the laser to your skin type and the target, from unwanted hair to redness and pigment.

Its IntelliTrak system measures skin temperature in real time and delivers energy evenly as the handpiece glides across the skin.

LaseMD

Non-ablative 1927 nm thulium laser.

LaseMD is a gentle, non-ablative thulium laser. It treats the upper layers of the skin while leaving the outermost layer intact, which keeps recovery short.

We use it for uneven tone and pigment, sun damage, fine lines and texture, and on the scalp as part of hair and scalp care.

Healite II

LED light therapy to calm the skin and support recovery.

Healite II is a low-level light therapy (LED) system. Different wavelengths are chosen for different goals: near-infrared and yellow light to support recovery and rejuvenation, and blue light for active acne.

Sessions are comfortable and non-invasive, and are often added after a laser treatment or facial to calm the skin.

From first conversation to final result.

    Consultation

    We assess your skin, the stage and type of acne or scarring, and your health history, then plan the order of treatments.

  2. 02

    Cleansing

    Skin is deep cleansed and, where needed, congestion is carefully extracted. For laser, numbing cream is applied first: please bring your own, as we don’t supply it.

  3. 03

    Treatment

    Depending on your plan, this may be a PHA peel, laser acne treatment or scar reduction. Laser sessions finish with chilled-air cooling.

  4. 04

    Aftercare

    After scar laser, expect a few days of redness and fine scabbing; skip make-up for about a week. Gentle cleansing, moisture and sun protection matter throughout.

Pricing

Choose your treatment.

For laser treatments: please bring your own numbing cream to the appointment, as we don’t supply it (available from pharmacies; ask the pharmacist whether it suits you). Without it, treatment will need to be rescheduled. Your practitioner will recommend the right combination for your skin at consultation. A $50 deposit secures your appointment and comes off your treatment on the day.

Good to know.

Should I treat acne or scars first?+

Usually active acne first. Once breakouts have settled, scar treatments can work on a calmer, more stable surface.

How many sessions will I need?+

Both acne and scar treatments typically need several sessions spaced a few weeks apart. We will suggest a plan once we have seen your skin.

Will my scars disappear?+

Scars can improve noticeably and the change is long-lasting, but complete removal is not always possible. Results develop over several months and vary from person to person.

Is it suitable for severe acne?+

Our treatments are best suited to mild to moderate acne. For severe or persistent acne we may suggest seeing your GP alongside clinic care.

Individual results vary. Suitability is confirmed at consultation; temporary redness, swelling or tenderness may occur.
