Which style should I choose?+
A sheer blush suits those wanting a subtle lift in colour, full coverage suits lips that have lost most of their natural tone, and a liner helps redefine the border. We tailor the approach to you at consultation.
I get cold sores. Can I still have it?+
Often yes, but please tell us when you book. Lip tattooing can trigger a flare in people prone to cold sores, so we will talk you through how to prepare, which may include a conversation with your pharmacist or GP.
How long will it last?+
Usually around one to two years, depending on skin type. Expect some fading once healed; sun exposure and some skincare can speed this up. A yearly refresh keeps colour even.
What should I avoid while it heals?+
Avoid hot drinks and spicy food for the first 12 hours, and lipstick for three days. For ten days, skip swimming, saunas and spas, and let any flaking come away on its own.
Individual results vary. Suitability is confirmed at consultation; temporary redness, swelling or tenderness may occur.
