How it works

Firmness, built gradually.

Skin tightening at ABA uses Alma Accent Prime, which pairs radiofrequency with ultrasound. Radiofrequency gently heats the deeper layers of the skin, while ultrasound reaches beneath the surface to prompt the skin’s own collagen production.

Treatment can cover the full face or focus on the jawline and neck. For the delicate eye area we also offer Ulthera Prime, a focused ultrasound treatment of 120 lines. Change builds gradually, so the result tends to look rested and natural.

Ideal for

  • —Early laxity and loss of definition across the face
  • —A softening jawline and loose skin on the neck
  • —Crepey skin and mild hooding around the eyes
  • —Those who prefer gradual, non-surgical change

The technology

What we use, and why.

Alma Lasers

Accent Prime

Radiofrequency and ultrasound in one platform.

Accent Prime combines two energies. Unipolar radiofrequency at 40.68 MHz warms the skin to tighten it and support collagen, while a patented ultrasound handpiece works on the fat layer for contouring.

Heat builds gradually and the system has integrated cooling, so most clients describe the sensation as warm rather than hot.

  • —Face, neck and body
  • —Suitable for all skin types
  • —No downtime for most clients

Ultherapy

Micro-focused ultrasound with real-time imaging.

Ultherapy delivers focused ultrasound energy to the deeper foundational layers of the skin, bypassing the surface. Built-in ultrasound imaging lets the practitioner see the layers being treated, so energy is placed at the intended depth.

The heat prompts the body’s own collagen and elastin renewal, which is why results build gradually over the following months.

  • —Ultrasound imaging during treatment
  • —Brow, jawline, neck and décolletage
  • —Genuine system, with an authenticity certificate in clinic

Questions

Good to know.

How many sessions will I need?+

For Accent Prime, a course of four to six sessions spaced four to six weeks apart is generally recommended. Your practitioner will tailor this to your skin and goals.

When will I see results?+

Improvement is gradual and can continue for up to three months as collagen renews, with the fullest effect usually seen around six weeks after your final session. Individual results vary.

Which option is right for me?+

Accent Prime suits the full face, or the jawline and neck on their own. Ulthera Prime is a focused treatment for the eye area. We recommend the right option, or a combination, at consultation.

Is it suitable for my skin?+

Accent Prime can be used on all skin types. Some health conditions and implants mean it may not be suitable, so we review your medical history before treatment.

Individual results vary. Suitability is confirmed at consultation; temporary redness, swelling or tenderness may occur.
