LASER - PORES

pore minimising laser treatment before after
REFINE YOUR SKIN TO PERFECTION

Laser pore minimizing treatments work by utilizing focused laser energy to stimulate collagen production in the skin. This collagen helps tighten and firm the surrounding tissue, reducing the appearance of enlarged pores. The laser energy also targets excess oil production, contributing to a smoother complexion. Additionally, the heat generated by the laser promotes cell turnover, encouraging the growth of new, healthier skin cells.

ENLARGED PORES

Enlarged pores, also known as open pores, occur when the hair follicles on the skin become larger and more visible. Pores are tiny openings in the skin that contain hair follicles and serve as outlets for oil and sweat. Enlarged pores can be more noticeable, especially on the face, and may contribute to an uneven skin texture.

KERATOSIS PILARIS

Keratosis pilaris is a common skin condition characterized by small, rough bumps that can appear on the skin, often on the back of the arms, thighs, cheeks, or buttocks. These bumps are caused by the buildup of keratin, a protein that protects the skin from infections.

CLOGGED PORES

Clogged pores occur when hair follicles become blocked with dead skin cells, excess oil (sebum), and sometimes bacteria. Pores are tiny openings in the skin that release oil and sweat. When these openings become obstructed, it can lead to various skin issues.

  • What happens to my eyebrow hair?
We will not harm your eyebrow hair. Before we start eyebrow tattooing, we will trim your eyebrow hair according to your face shape. After trimming, we will not harm your eyebrow hair during the eyebrow tattooing process, but if you encounter a few hairs coming out during or after the treatment, it is absolutely normal.
  • Can I have tattooing if I have no hair?
Our artists are highly skilled to perform procedures with or without hair present on the eyebrow.
  • What's the difference between the three eyebrow techniques?
The powder brow technique is the process of creating an eyebrow powder or pencil looking by using a hand tool with tiny needles to implant inks into your skin. The nano machine hair stroke technique is the process of implanting pigment into the skin with a machine, similar to a normal tattoo machine with a needle, to mimc the look of a natural hair stroke. The feather eyebrow is a mix of the before two techniques.
  • How do I select between those three brow techniques?
In general, it all depends on your current skin and eyebrow hair condition. Our tattoo specialist will check your skin condition and give you the best solution during the consultation. Normally, we don't recommend Nano hair stroke for an oily skin or a person have no hair.
  • How do I know if brow cosmetic tattooing is for me?
Cosmetic tattooing can benefit most people, some of the top things that cosmetic tattooing can help with or enhance are: Thicken and define sparse, thinning or hairless brows Improves asymmetry Covers or camouflages a scar in the brow area Quickens your makeup routine giving you more time in the morning
  • Does cosmetic tattooing hurt?
In our booking confirmation message, there is a link to buy a high quality topical anaesthetics to keep you comfortable throughout the procedure. Everyone has a different pain threshold; therefore, some people may experience a little more discomfort than others. We do everything within our power to ensure you are kept as comfortable as possible.
  • How many tattoo appointments do I need?
Two procedures are needed, 8 – 12 weeks apart. With most procedures, the colour fades 30% initially. For the second procedure, our cosmetic tattooist gauges the colour retention and how you are feeling with the shape/colour before making any adjustments required.
  • How long does cosmetic tattooing last?
Cosmetic tattooing generally lasts up to 1-2 years however each skin type will retain the pigment differently. This does not mean that the pigment will be completely faded, your cosmetic tattoo may just need to be refreshed to keep the tattoo looking fresh year-round.
  • How do I make my cosmetic tattoo last longer?
Fading occurs due to increased sun exposure, makeup removal products, some skin products (specifically Vitamin A) and also when a lighter shade of pigment is used for the tattoo. Ensuring you use SPF daily and avoid your tattoo area where possible when removing your makeup, Vitamin A and sun exposure, can all help prevent fading.
  • What are the pigments used?
The pigments we use is an Iron Oxide base pigment that is TGA approved. Specifically manufactured for implantation into human skin. There are numerous base colours which can be mixed to create a custom colour to you. Cosmetic tattoo pigments have been created for using on the face/areola/scalp specifically and are pre-mixed and sterilised, they have been formulated to allow for a ‘fade factor’- this makes them different from tattoo inks used elsewhere on the body.
  • What color will the tattoo fade to?
This is different for every client. When we pick a pigment colour for your brows, we take into consideration your skin type, skin undertones, products you use on the skin and your everyday environmental factors. We use a combination of warm and cool toned pigments, and so far, none of our clients have gone red or blue after 2 years or more.
  • How do I know you are safe and properly qualified?
We maintain our legal requirements for NSW and hold a ‘Parramatta Council Skin Penetration Licence’. All of our Cosmetic Tattooists are trained in advanced techniques and are fully accredited. Our clinic upholds very high standards in infection control and use the latest technology, machines and pigments. We display all of our licensing and certification in clinic so you are able to view this at all times.
  • Can I exercise as per normal after my tattoo appointment?
You can go back to your routine as soon as you finish the appointment. The tattooed area is safe to touch clean water. You can take shower, wash your face as normal. But we do recommend not to swim until it's fully recovered. Avoid makeup removal product or cleansers for the tattooed area for the first week will be very helpful as well.
